As we now know the macronutrients are made up of Proteins, Fats and Carbohydrates. I would say out of these three Fats are probably the most feared amongst the majority. A fair bit of scare mongering has happened over the years and maybe a lot of that was from mis-understanding fats.
I think it has now become fairly accepted that certain fat in sufficient amounts can benefit body composition and health.
However even though our perceptions have changed I still think many would be sceptical in believing that a high fat, low carbohydrate diet may be the answer to their/your nutrition problems.
Again the most important factor is education. If you understand how different fats work within our bodies then you are more likely to start to accept some back into your diet and daily life.
